My name is Mike McComb. I'm the owner of Wornstar Media. I have operated in Sales & Marketing most of my adult years. In recent years I put Wornstar Media together to primarily help folks with Promotional Videos in Winnipeg. Music videos are rolling around that I shot when I was 15, some 35 years ago! I've remained interested in Video Production for most of my life. It's a time consuming effort to learn, shoot and produce but something that I enjoy

I have developed an aptitude for editing videos and offer my Video Production and Editing Service to folks that struggle. My main focus with Video Production is with music. I have been a performing musician in and around Winnipeg for the last couple of decades. As a result, I have met and know many musicians. I understand that most musicians operate with so little money so I provide my Video Services inexpensively for musicians.

Despite taking lots of pictures throughout my life for companies I have worked for, website development, etc, as well as to promote my personal musical efforts, I started really digging into the world of Photography in Winnipeg only a few short years ago. As with most things I dove in DEEP. I'm proud of the body of work that I have compiled in such a short time.

This Website is dedicated to the Photography aspect of Wornstar Media in Winnipeg.

In 2018 I am proud to say that my work has been published in two on-line magazines, one from Japan and the other from Brazil. I've taken Studio Photography of two Models represented by The Numa Modelling Network. I'm commissioned to take pictures for most of The Pony Corral's Special Events as well as Photography in their restaurants and lounges for promotional purposes. As well I have taken Studio & Live Photography of some of Winnipeg's top musical acts, as well as Weddings and Baby Photography.

I've developed a Home Studio with proper lighting and backdrops for head shots and studio work, although I thrive outdoors and in natural light.

When choosing me for your Photography needs in Winnipeg you can expect a personal approach. I like to dig into every shoot and achieve the best results possible. I take TOO many shots per shoot so that I have a huge selection to edit. When it comes time to process your photos I subscribe to the industry's top software packages; namely Adobe's Lightroom and Photoshop. I am proud of my competence with these important tools.
